On Wednesday evening, the school Board held its big AGM. For an hour before that, students from all divisions of the school ran a “Tech Fair” in which they showed off the learning they’ve been engaging in during their Computing and other subject-area classes. Students showed off blogs, robots, QR codes, movies, programs, webpages, and more. Parents coming to the AGM visited and asked about the students’ learning in these projects. There was an exciting buzz in the room as students eagerly shared and showed off their work.
The photos below (click to enlarge) show off some of the projects and some of the students’ enthusiasm!
I've been teaching and traveling the world for decades. I teach technology skills and programming in international schools, and love developing skills in my students. Teaching internationally gives me a broader perspective and I thoroughly enjoy the thrill of new sights and experiences.
